This service is offered for patients with moderate medical or mobility needs
They may be:
- Going to a hospital appointment - we can 'wait and return'
- Travelling to a relative or family event
- Moving to a Nursing Home or Hospice
- Taking home from Hospital for end-of life-care
- Just need a little assistance with mobility or need oxygen, cannot bend or have some confusion
Staff available are:
- Ambulance Care Assistants
- Paramedics
- Nurses
- Emergency Medical Technicians
Staff are offered according to the requirements of the patient
Some journeys are pre-booked in advance and some are short-notice
We are happy to take family (subject to available space) at no extra charge
The vehicles offered may be fully equipped stretcher ambulance, wheel chair capable or car
