Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) HSE Approved
Aim
To enable candidates to give adequate and effective assessment of an incident prior to the arrival of a qualified first aider.
Risk Assessment
First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health and safety law. In emergencies, EFAW qualified personnel can act to assess an incident in the absence of a trained first aider and initiate action before the arrival of secondary care.
3 day First Aid at Work HSE Approved
Aim
To enable candidates to give adequate and effective first aid to a casualty at the workplace following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment

First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health and safety law. In emergencies, First Aiders can act to prevent situations becoming major issues and can possibly limit potential sick leave through prompt action.
2 day First Aid at Work requalification HSE Approved
Aim
To enable candidates to give adequate and effective first aid to a casualty at the workplace following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment. This is a requalification to the above 3 day course.

Early Years First Aid (2 days)

Paediatric First Aid (1 day first aid for schools)

To enable candidates to give adequate and efficient first aid to a casualty, adult, baby or child, following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment.

Moving and Handling (half day)

The Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety is now called the Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering
Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering - CIEH Approved
(Previously called Intermediate Food Hygiene)
This course takes the Level 2 Award in Food Safety a step further, building on candidate's knowledge of food hygiene, and developing their ability to ensure that their staff are fulfilling both legislative and company requirements. This course is aimed at people working in food businesses at a supervisory and managerial level.
Level 3 Award in Implementing Food Safety Management Procedures - CIEH Approved
This course is aimed at business owners and/or managers of small and medium sized catering and hospitality businesses. It aims to assist caterers to implement a food safety management system based on HACCP to comply with new EU legislation (1st January 2006).
