    We are always happy to provide training at your premises. We provide this for groups of 12 or less. All you need to do is provide the training room and a power supply, we will do the rest!

    We are happy to come to your premises if you have a large group of students that need training in one day. For example, inset training in schools. We have a large number of trainers and the equipment to support this.

    •  Defibrillator (4 hour)
    (Automated External Defibrillator)

    Aim
    To enable candidates to revise skills of basic life support and competently use an advisory external defibrillator (AED).

    •  Ambulance Care Assistant (5 day)

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and effective medical care during transportation.

    Well trained ambulance care staff are an essential backbone of any ambulance service

    •  Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) HSE Approved

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and effective assessment of an incident prior to the arrival of a qualified first aider.

    Risk Assessment
    First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health and safety law. In emergencies, EFAW qualified personnel can act to assess an incident in the absence of a trained first aider and initiate action before the arrival of secondary care.

    •  3 day First Aid at Work HSE Approved

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and effective first aid to a casualty at the workplace following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment

    Risk Assessment
    First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health and safety law. In emergencies, First Aiders can act to prevent situations becoming major issues and can possibly limit potential sick leave through prompt action.

    •  2 day First Aid at Work requalification HSE Approved

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and effective first aid to a casualty at the workplace following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment. This is a requalification to the above 3 day course.

    •  Early Years First Aid (2 days)

    Ofsted and Sure Start recommended Syllabus

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and efficient first aid to a casualty, baby or child, following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment.


    Risk Assessment
    First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health & safety law. In emergencies, First Aiders can act to prevent situations becoming major issues and can possibly limit potential sick leave through prompt action. The course is aimed at those working with children.

    •  Paediatric First Aid (1 day first aid for schools)

    Aim
    To enable candidates to give adequate and efficient first aid to a casualty, adult, baby or child, following an injury or illness using materials or HSE approved first aid equipment.


    Risk Assessment
    First aid equipment and first aid trained personnel in the workplace are requirements of health & safety law. In emergencies, First Aiders can act to prevent situations becoming major issues and can possibly limit potential sick leave through prompt action. The course is aimed at those working with children.

    •  Moving and Handling (half day)
    4 hour core unit

    Aim
    To enable candidates to understand the principles of handling loads to protect themselves and other colleagues

    Risk Assessment
    Manual handling training for all personnel in the workplace are requirements of health and safety law

    •  Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene - CIEH Approved

    (Previously called Basic Food Hygiene)  

    The Foundation Food Hygiene course is now called the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. Aimed at all food handlers and designed to give an appreciation of good hygiene practice.

    •  Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering - CIEH Approved

    (Previously called Foundation or Basic Food Hygiene)

    The CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering is designed to address the food safety needs of the catering and hospitality sector

    •  Intermediate Certificate in Food Hygiene - CIEH Approved

    The Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety is now called the Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering

    •  Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering - CIEH Approved

    (Previously called Intermediate Food Hygiene)

    This course takes the Level 2 Award in Food Safety a step further, building on candidate's knowledge of food hygiene, and developing their ability to ensure that their staff are fulfilling both legislative and company requirements. This course is aimed at people working in food businesses at a supervisory and managerial level.

    •  Level 3 Award in Implementing Food Safety Management Procedures - CIEH Approved

    This course is aimed at business owners and/or managers of small and medium sized catering and hospitality businesses.
